Ethics Policy
The principles our contributors follow to keep our journalism honest and independent.
Last updated: August 2026
Independence
Our contributors work in the interest of readers. Editorial judgments are made free of influence from advertisers, sources, or outside parties.
Conflicts of interest
Contributors avoid situations in which personal or financial interests could compromise, or appear to compromise, their objectivity. Relevant financial conflicts are disclosed, and contributors recuse themselves where appropriate.
Gifts and incentives
Contributors do not accept gifts, payments, or incentives intended to influence coverage. Nominal items of no material value do not affect our editorial judgment.
Sources and attribution
We attribute information to its source so readers can judge its reliability. We use anonymous sources only when the information is important and cannot be obtained another way, and we take reasonable steps to establish credibility.
Plagiarism and fabrication
Plagiarism and fabrication are not tolerated. Words and ideas drawn from others are credited, and quotations are used accurately and in context.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it. Readers can raise concerns at contact@topseniorbenefit.com.
